  • Pennsylvania State University Office of Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response, Member of the student advisory board, State College, PA, 2021-2023, Bi-weekly meetings addressing Title IX reports involving students as well as other reports of student sexual misconduct otherwise prohibited by University policy. Worked on handouts for witnesses who were bystanders on how they can be active while also providing CAPS information. Marketed OSMPR as well. Operation Smile Club Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA, 2022-2023, is a nonprofit organization funding cleft lip and palate surgeries for children.
  • Dolors Almeda School, Barcelona, Spain, Barcelona, Spain, 2023, Volunteered about 8 hours at the elementary school of Dolors Almeda School in Barcelona, Spain. Here I helped students ranging from ages 5-11 with their English speaking abilities while engaging in activities that worked on conversation skills, being able to tell time, and saying and describing body parts in English.

  • Pennsylvania State University, McNair Scholars Research Internship Program, State College, PA, Summer 2023, I have been part of the McNair Scholars program since Winter of 2021 but in the Summer of 2023 I had the opportunity to work with a faculty research advisor to further investigate research he had been working on prior. With my faculty research advisor, we analyzed how the COVID-19 pandemic affected parenting stress, behaviors, and mental health and how that in turn affected overall child well-being. Became very familiar with how to navigate software programs such as SPSS and Mplus.

Together we were able to communicate effectively on strategies that would work best for creating a larger presence of this club on campus.
