Responsible for maintenance and repair of John Deere equipment including but not limited to: Building Engines, Transmissions, Computer and Mechanical Diagnostic and complete repair of all equipment from compact to large agricultural.

Responsible for managing 6 mechanics, day and night crews.

As a team we were responsible for the maintenance and repair of 200 pieces of equipment, multiple onsite irrigation wells and pumps. Responsible for documentation of service, scheduled maintenance, and all repairs. Hired as a mechanic, promoted to Shop Forman and then promoted to Shop Manager.

Responsible to work with a team of tradesman for the erection of a submarine parking garage in the Puget Sound which required the erection of iron, bolt up and structural welding.

• Maintained a clean work environment that promoted safety while enhancing overall productivity.
• Reduced machinery downtime by swiftly diagnosing issues and implementing effective repair solutions.
• Analyzed malfunctioning equipment and determined type of repairs required for: Drill and Core Rigs, water trucks, cranes, back hoes, generators, pump engines, mud systems, etc.
• Removed worn or faulty components for replacement or repair.

• Reduced downtime through proactive maintenance and timely repair of drilling equipment, keeping accurate documents step by step.
• Improved safety on the rig by enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and conducting regular safety drills.
• Supervised drill site setup, ensuring proper installation and alignment of drilling equipment for maximum operational efficiency. Our team passed all drill rig inspections and was the #1producing rig with no injuries or safety violations
• Supported management of all drilling and rig move operations
• Proficient at daily tasks of drilling, tripping pipe, mixing mud, mud tests, casing the well, welding casing, dirt work and sample cuttings

I was responsible erecting the skeleton of the building (raising gang); bolting up all connections (bolt up crew); decking the floors that support the concrete (decking crew); welding stairs, hand rails, moment welds (welder); ensuring the building is straight and true and all columns plumb and on grid (plumb up crew)

As a journeyman; I held multiple positions within the trade, not only as a hand but also as a foreman for all of the crews listed above.
