For the town of Ahoskie and its low income families, I will be just as determined to fight for all they deserve as well. I began this position as the Property manager as the previous employee's before. Since my start date, I have redevoleped the day to day operation to one that is more economical and less complicated. I restructured the maintenance plans, I reduced the cost of pest control and maintenance cost by more than half. I complete all the maintenance on site that does not require a contractors license while still maintaining a friendly and open relationship with all of my tenants. I have attended training on the Rural Development Rules and Regulations and I explained these rules to all of the tenants and I follow them completely. I aid in setting the annual budget for the complex and follow it to ensure that we are always in compliance. I have met with outside agencies in the county to try to get all of the tenants any and all the aid that they are entitled to and make sure that they have the opportunities available to them. I am available during my office hours as well as anytime that I am needed. I make sure that my residence maintain the safest and most up to date home available within our guidelines.

I started as an entry level lab utility. I progress my way through the company to become one of only 2 procurement technicians and then into the production area as a shipping stocker. I am avid member of the safety teem. I am a safety mentor for most new members of the Nucor Team. I have implemented changes in the production of the lab and disposal of the cut and tested material that has almost eliminated hazards that have cause team members to become injured. I have also aided in developing a tracking system for tested materials that has greatly reduced the production time of the entire lab while aiding in maintaining acredibility of all lab personnel.

I began as entry level loader operator through a temporary office.  I worked hard and learned a lot and hired as a permanent position.  I continue to learn and was promoted shortly as a pellet mill operator and finally as a control room operator.  During this time I implemented a change in process of maintenance and repair that greatly reduce the down times that were needed for the continual operational duties.  I also designed techniques that is still used to solve problems that had not been solved since the company was started and is now being used throughout the company.

I began as an entry level maintenance person.  I learned how to set up mobile homes and progress through the hard work to maintenance supervisor and then became the maintenance Manager.  Because of my ability to talk with people and understand their needs and also able to relate to the marketing side of the commercial business, I was asked to become part of the sales team as well.  As a sales person I maintained the organized growth of the company and became the Sales Manager as well.  Understanding that small businesses have to change with the times, I transitioned the business from a sole based mobile home dealership into a business that bought and sold realestate.  This doubled sales very rapidly.  Through this transition we were able to double our work force and capital gains.  I obtained working permits, contracted electricians, plumbers, builders and all needed work force.  I also hired all company personnel and trained them how to accomplish the everyday task economically and safely to satisfy the customers so that we were able to have repeated customers and referrals.
