I was a circulating nurse in the main operating room at the main campus of St. Elizabeth's hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.

I prepared rooms for operations, including gathering instruments and needed supplies for each particular surgery.

I monitored patients as well as the entire surgical suite, making sure patient care was maintained and sterile technique was kept through the entire surgery. We counted instruments (before and after the operations), inserted Foley catheters, and properly positioned patients for their surgery.
