  • Work with the medical transportation company that delivers the hazardous drug from Concord to Vallejo to ensure that pick ups are scheduled properly and canceled when needed to avoid unnecessary cost
  • Input new oral medication orders, and changes to existing medication orders, for the prescribers and follow the order until it is delivered to the patient. This includes insurance authorizations, specialty pharmacy routing for oral oncolytics and payment assistance through grants and applications for manufacturer assistance programs
  • Review Epic EMR throughout the day and handle any patient refill requests, oral medication issues, doctor order requests or anything else pharmacy related
  • Celgene REMS intake for new REMS patients and monthly REMS surveys for refills
