Company C, Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Arkansas Army National Guard, Pine Bluff AR

• This position required dual status as a full-time Readiness Manager and as a Platoon Sergeant/Telecommunications Supervisor.
• Maintained accountability of over 70 personnel and equipment, weapons, and facilities valued at 30 million dollars.
• Served four months as the interim First Sergeant during annual training, unit alert, and mobilization for deployment and ensured 100 percent of unit completed all Warrior Task Training prior to deployment.

Oct 2003-Mar 2007 - Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officer (79T4O)

• Contacted, counseled, and processed qualified applicants for enlistment, reenlistment and extension of enlistment into the Arkansas Army National Guard.
• Established a successful store front recruiting office in a new market.

• Recommended for Bronze Star Medal with “V” Device for valor under enemy fire as a member of Task Force Dagger at Qala-i-Jangi in November 2001 near Mazar-i-Sharif Afghanistan.
• Presented over 800 hours of instruction in the employment if tactical communications technologies to special operations detachments.
• Planned, coordinated, and executed realistic field training exercise for the signal detachment in preparation for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

• Awarded the distinction of 3rd Battalion Soldier of the Year for 1998 following a mentally and physically grueling competition.
