- Currently some of my responsibilities are to analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, plans, specifications, contractual documents, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
- I am also responsible for the inspection of quality of work performed during the daily activities of the overall construction on heavy civil projects
- Included but not limited to; roads, environmental, excavations, concrete and re-bar
- I demonstrate good organizational, planning and time management skills and help detect deficiencies and address deficiencies in a timely and effective manner
- I work with the field engineering staff acting as their field representative ensuring construction complies with the QA/QC requirements
- I interface with field foreman and superintendents to maintain an open line of communication and reporting monitor job progress
- I aid in developing, implementing and administering project engineering procedures and other work documents; tracks and logs documentation and assist with managing project document control
- I assist with managing procurement of materials and consumables, including vendor pre-qualifications and development of RFQ’s
- I interact cross-functionally with other Field Engineers and other team members and assist in other duties as necessary.
