I'm a career educator. You don't have to be a faculty member to educate. I got my first job at the second largest non-profit university in California right out of college. I spent too much time in my first role with National University trying to figure out if education was the path for me. Once I decided it was, I took things more seriously and started moving up rapidly. I get along great with students, faculty, and administrators alike. Treat everyone the same, because you don't know who they are, and who they will become.
