  • Location: Costa Rica on the Osa Peninsula.
  • Used terrestrial surveying techniques to measure predators, prey, and butterflies.
  • Gained field work experience on project research development, GPS navigation and direct and indirect techniques of biodiversity management, analysis, and data collection.
  • Methods included camera trapping, butterfly trapping, and mammal tracking.
  • Lectures included social-economic, ecology, and anthropogenic impacts related to natives, ecology, conservation of vertebrates and butterflies, and anthropogenic effects of defamation and population dynamics.
  • Gained experience participating in Osa conservation's reforestation, sea turtle breeding, and monitoring programs.
