In this role, I provided empathetic, ethical and professional telethonic support to individuals experiencing distress or seeking guidance. I made sure to address emotional and behavioral health concerns including the level of risk in urgent safety issues. I provided resources, coping strategies, referrals and safety planning. I would intervene appropriately in emergency situations and maintain accurate, timely and clinically sound documentation. It was pertinent to multi-task effectively while navigating multiple software systems. I had to ensure a secure HIPPA compliant home workspace with a locking door. A wired stable internet connection.
