Strong will, determined, friendly, outgoing, resourceful, and hard working highlight my mindset best. Many times these traits have been tested greatly, and all these times I have triumphed. I know my place given my age and experience, however I have absolutely no problem leading my coworkers in times of crisis for the sake of us all.

My multitasking skills had evolved exponentially under such a fast pace environment. Between greeting those at the door, meeting the demands of all my guests, and upholding a high standard for myself.
Team work shined thoroughly at this restaurant, and helped me understand it's important even better. I gained everyone's respect by helping them, and vice versa with me during our busiest times. All of our tables were always kept happy.
My professionalism, and handling with extremely offensive situations had no choice but to be absolutely perfected. As a salesperson in Walmart, I had my life threatened a number of times but handled it with such trained expertise that it would immediately de-escalate into a friendly encounter.
When working food it was my responsibility to handle the POS/register, bring out drinks & food, keep tables and dining section whilst the work station spotless at all times, handle customer needs, deliver refills like a server, and on... Here I learned to really embrace people and what they had to say; as I met many here from all places around the world and their stories. As a track Marshall, it was my responsibility to brief the customers about safety, helmet them, seat them in the correct go karts, open the gates and send them off, to watch the race from the flag stands and ensure everyone's safety if there was a crash. Here I learned to be present when needed at all times, in a very quick fashion; you never know just how important it truly might be...
My strength, endurance, and will was tested to nearly it's limits during these times. I pushed through what the coworkers called "hell week" (one night working from 7am-2am and to repeat the following day). We specialized as a moving and junk removal team, and handled the customers treasures with such great care that we were always shown gratitude.
This restaurant was a nightmare to work for. Roaches in every corner, every rag being old, crusty and rancid. The managers had done things that disgusted me and I learned to stand up for what's right by going against their word to clean for the customers health and safety.
Right after I started, the other cooks left and I was alone. I jumped in the deep end and had no floaties, so I learned to swim like an Olympian. Especially during bar rush at 2am, the kitchen would become absolutely flooded with tickets and every night I would complete thousands and thousands of dollars in sales. Even if there was always some distraction during bar rush at IHOP.
Between constructing pools, demolishing pools and hauling away the debris, cleaning out decade old pools by hand, and landscaping, this job was no easy task and the pay was even more harsh. There were moments where coworkers would want to quit after throwing up from their environment, and I would have to ease them into helping me finish the day.
To prepare all desserts of the restaurant. Blizzards, ice cream sundaes. I played a key role in the teams functions and kept clean all around.
