I have been working as a recovery coach with the PROUD program for the last 2.5 years. I am exceptionally talented at building rapport with the peer's that we serve on a daily basis. I bring a positive attitude to work everyday and to the team I work with. I understand that the role of MAT Coordinator is an integral part of the foundation of the PROUD program, and I feel as though my experience working with peers in such an effective way, along with my increasing clinical knowledge, would make me a great fit for this position. My interests lie in what is the best decision for PROUD, our team, and our peers. I greatly appreciate you considering me for this role. Whether I move into this role or not, I am committed to working hard to be the best version of myself every day, so that I can show up for my peers the way that they deserve from me.
I have received my CPS- AD CARES certification as well as my MATS certification. I also work for Acceptance Recovery Center as a group facilitator and have served as a mentor to some of the men in that program. I am a graduate of the Respect Institute. I recently purchased my first house. I also recently acquired six full years in recovery.
