-In 2008 I bicycled from the Pacific Ocean, to the Atlantic Ocean.
-I was diagnosed with GBM, or stage 4 brain cancer, in 2014. I was given a 4-15 month life expectancy. Extremely grateful to be healthy and happy today.
-While on chemo, I went on a 22 day canoe trip, with an elder mentor of mine. We paddled for over 3 weeks without any civilization, witnessing hundreds of seals, moose and even 9 polar bears.
