  • Under the supervision of the Utility Craftsworker Supervisor, I performed various skilled work consisting of the inspection, alteration, repair, and maintenance of civil features associated with and in support of large hydro facilities, such as dams, hydroelectric generating and pumping plants, spillways, aqueducts, water control radial gates, water measuring levees, levee systems, reservoirs, and security systems.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Used a mobile tablet to perform routine SAP functions, such as time recording, reservations, and work order notifications. Operated, serviced, and made minor repairs to light and heavy equipment used for the maintenance of embankments, levees, drainage systems, pipelines, bulkheads, canals, checks and head gates, trash racks, bridges, sand traps, access roads, transformer and switch yards, and hydro-associated structures. Equipment included bulldozers, cranes, front-end loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, graders, draglines, boom trucks, truck tractors and trailers, rollers, welders, sweepers, contourmatic sprayers, personnel hoists, compressors, generators, outboard motors, air, gas, and electrical water pumps, blowers, concrete equipment, sandblast machines, water blasters, steam cleaners, and boats.
