Tyler Rogstad

Gonvick,MN

Summary

Graduated high school in 2012 from Clearbrook-Gonvick. Immediately went into the workforce, moved to the Bakken Oil Field, worked there for the summer, and then returned home for welding school. Graduated, then started with Charps LLC. After two years as a welder's helper, I became a welder foreman. We worked all across the country, from North Dakota to New York. As a pipeline welder, we had to travel with the work. Running 12 to 14 welders at a time. After I got married in 2017 and had my first child in 2018, I no longer wanted to be on the road, and Charps had built a new welding and fabrication shop in Clearbook in 2020; they appointed me as the shop foreman. With no longer having to be gone, I had more time to focus on starting my new business in December of 2021, and I started Rogstad Land Services LLC. We specialize in land clearing, forestry mulching, excavation, and dozer work. Our main clients are landowners with recreational grounds, and farmers. Anything from wildlife ponds to new fence lines, to clearing and planting new food plots for land owners. There are lots and lots of recreational trails as well. It's our pride and joy helping landowners transform their properties.
