Currently I am no longer working with family dollar and the last 3 years has been a journey that I wouldn’t take back for the world. It definitely shaped and molded my career path after receiving employee of the month 5 times. I’m learning it’s okay to professionally resign from a space where feel you learned as much as you could and did as much as you could and not feeling appreciated that it is ok for a me to look for a more fulfilling career that I can grow with over time.

● DC Delivery’s are typically performed on Fridays which prep for on Thursday nights. We assemble the rollers for the product that was coming into the to replenish the merchandise that had been purchased the week before.
● Third party delivery came in Thursday morning by McClane which was our fresh produce and frozen food products

● Cycle counts are any item in the store that have less than 3 items on the shelf after weekly replenishment done. Prior to Thursday at 6am and completed by 4pm eastern standard time in-order to create the preorder for the following week
● Opening procedures, head to the store at 7:30 count the petty cash, manage the End of Day paper work for the day before. Filling out the new E.O.D. For that day. Creating the average transaction board so everyone to their average transaction count for that day. Pulling out any U-boats or totes that needs to be gone threw and open the door at 8am and closing the store procedures consisted of count the petty cash bringing the tills back to 100 counting the deposit enter both the petty cash and the deposit for that day into the system. Making sure the uboats are off the floor in the stock room neatly. Making sure store is cleaning arming the store and locking the doors to start again the next day.
