• DTR teacher: Through the Distinguished Teacher Review Process, Dallas ISD recognizes teachers who demonstrate leadership, pursue learning opportunities, contribute to the profession of education, and promote academic excellence. Distinguished teachers earn an effectiveness level of Proficient II or higher. These teachers achieve high scores in the three components of TEI – teacher performance, student achievement, and student experience surveys (if applicable).

· Provide supervision for students who are assigned to ISS

· Monitor all ISS assignments; provide encouragement and feedback to students, monitor tests, computer work and provide instructional assistance as appropriate.

· Facilitate and arrange delivery of student lunches when necessary.
