I currently work 25-30 hours every week well also being a full-time student. My responsibilities for this job include learn menu and recipes for coffee drinks, prepare and sell coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques, such as, espresso,cafe latte, and cappuccino, take and prepare drive-through orders in a timely manner, Use headset for communication with colleagues, take and process payments and adhere to sanitation, safety, and beverage control policies. I previously worked this job in highschool which has lead me to learn people skills, experience in customer service as well as working with the public.

I worked this job 35-40 hours a week fresh out of cosmetology school working to grow my clientele and move up from being an apprentice stylist to being on my own as a level 1 stylist. Working here included cutting and styling hair based on client preference, color, highlight, re-touch hair based on client preference, provide bonus services such as head and neck massages during appointments, educating clients on products, and building a business for myself to become successful. This job showed me the beauty industry was not the right fit for me but, also showed me to value the amazing relationships I made with my clients as well as the life skills learned from this job.

I also worked this job August 2021-December 2021. This job introduced me to the beauty industry I worked this job fresh out of highschool supporting myself well starting my first semester at Lincoln Land. This job included assisting hair stylists with colorwork by applying base colors, toners, and setting up foils, preparing and mixed color formulas, completing basic styles for regular clients by using strong blow- drying and curling skills, minimizing infection risks by using required solutions and procedures to clean and sanitize tools, and freeing up stylists to focus on clients by personally handling basic tasks such as restocking supplies. This job lead me to decide I wanted to drop out of college and go to cosmetology school. This job taught me a lot about having organizational skills.

I worked this job 20-25 hours a week to support myself during cosmetology school. This job included serving patrons order from the bar and kitchen, including delivering accompaniments, taking patrons bar and kitchen orders, taking and filling out carry out orders. This job taught me a lot about having good customer service skills, time management, and communication with other colleagues.

This job was my first job throughout highschool. This job is also the job I am currently working at.
