Recent Trainings:
Participated in a 24 hour Mortgage Loan Processor Training course through The National Association of Mortgage Processors (NAMP) where you had the opportunity of learning the mortgage process, including how to correctly calculate income, review the appraisal, analyze the credit report, dissect AUS findings, calculate LTV/DTI ratios and more.
Additional Training of 24 hours in the Underwriting Bootcamp which highlighted further the ability to effectively analyze loan applications & creditworthiness to either approve or deny mortgage loans to borrowers. Included with this course was an overview of the VA SAR/LAPP underwriting where I became familiar with the duties of a LAPP/SAR, recognizing the requirements and processes for ordering and reviewing appraisals, and delivering Notices of Value (NOV) to the veteran borrower. Also covered, was identifying eligible property types, ensuring appraisals meet minimum property requirements, reviewed sample documents, and went over common SAR errors.
