I spent a year at Old Dominion University, and although it was a short time, it was a meaningful and memorable experience. I had the opportunity to be part of the university’s latin dance team (WEPA) and was actively involved in the Latino Student Alliance, which helped me connect with others and celebrate my culture. My time at ODU helped me grow both personally and socially. I decided to transfer to Northern Virginia Community College to better align with my academic and financial goals, but I look back on my year at ODU with appreciation and pride.
