Vanessa Manzano

I work as a Veterinary Assistant at a local animal hospital, where I have gained hands-on experience in animal care, patient handling, assisting with procedures, and supporting veterinary staff. This role has strengthened my knowledge of veterinary medicine, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. I am also working toward earning my Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) certification to continue growing my skills in the field. Balancing my role as a Veterinary Assistant while being a full-time student has helped me develop strong time management, responsibility, and organizational skills that I will continue to carry on forvever.

• Obtained a summer job at five below working freight in the mornings and working as a sales associate in the evenings. After just two months of working I was awarded employee of the month in August displaying my hard work, dedication and commitment.

• Obtained an internship at a local Veterinary Clinic working front desk, answering phone calls, taking appointments, and filing paperwork while simultaneously shadowing surgeries and accumulating nearly 200 hours in the clinic.
