• Assess the physical, mental, and emotional needs of residents.
• Develop, implement, and document social services care plans.
• Provide counseling to residents and their families.
• Assist with discharge planning and coordinating post-discharge needs.
• Develop and implement social service policies and procedures.
• Ensure the department adheres to federal and state regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as nursing, and medical staff, in interdisciplinary care conferences.
• Act as a liaison between residents, families, staff, and the administration.
• Manage and mediate resident and family grievances.
• Admissions and community resources:
• Participate in resident admission decisions and processes.
• Maintain a resource list of community services.

• Greet residents, visitors, and staff; answer and direct phone calls; and take messages.
• Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, scheduling appointments, and preparing documents.
• Help schedule resident appointments, coordinate with various departments, and assist with mail distribution.
• Maintain visitor logs, update directories, and manage office supplies.
• Serve as a point of contact for residents and their families, answer questions, and assist with inquiries.
• Monitor visitor access and ensure the main entrance is secure.

• Make eye contact, greet customers in a friendly way, and help them locate products.
• Provide information on products, services, and sales.
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Process payments, money orders, Western Union transactions, and other services.
• Address customer concerns, and escalate to management when necessary
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-maintained.

Restock and merchandise

• Replenish stock on shelves, and create attractive promotional displays according to company guidelines
• Monitor and restock items, assist with planogram accuracy, and handle expired products.
• Help with tasks like setting up displays, or other duties as needed, to ensure the store runs smoothly.
