Work History

Youth Sports Director

Fastbreak Sports
01.2022 - 06.2024
  • At Fastbreak Sports I was hired to be a sports coach for children ages 4-7. Sports have been a massive part of my life since I was that young, and I quickly noticed I had a passion for impacting the lives of young children positively and being able to introduce them to the sports I love. My responsibilities were primarily making sure the kids have fun while staying safe and developing their skills, creating lesson plans for our sports and different class types, picking up from school when necessary, creating strong trust worthy connections with every parent that walked through our doors, and eventually training newer coaches that would come in after I did.

Customer Service Associate

The UPS Store
04.2021 - 01.2022
  • At The UPS store, one of the most important things i’ve learned is the importance of versatility. This stems from the wide variety of not only services, but also of people one works with as well. From packing and shipping, to passport photos and faxing, every customers needs are different. At The UPS Store, I am responsible of friendly and respectfully greeting customers as they enter, assist them with any of our many services, and make sure no customer leaves the store unsatisfied with the outcome of their project.

Customer Service Associate

Duane Reade

  • As a customer service associate at Duane Reade, there was no shortage of responsibilities. I received training and learned how to do everything from working the register, to making signs and sale tags, to being in charge of an entire section. Being that my role in the store required interaction with customers, I am highly comfortable and confident not only working with others but helping them out as well. Overall my main responsibilities and duties were:
  • Assisted customers with a warm and professional attitude
  • Processed orders, refunds, exchanges and customer transactions
  • Assisted customers with questions
  • Operated the cash drawer
  • Took inventory

Cashier

Isabel's Pharmacy
11.2019 - 07.2020
  • At Isabel's Pharmacy in The Bronx, I was mainly a cashier 4 days a week. However, I did have a couple roles at the pharmacy. Whenever I was not at the cash register, I would be in the aisles, stocking and pricing items. While doing so, I had an equally as important job, which was providing a familiar, friendly, and helpful experience to the customers and people of the neighborhood.

Receptionist

High School of Economics and Finance
01.2019 - 06.2019

Additional Information

I was born and raised in New York City with my parents and older brother. Growing up in Washington Heights, I spent most of my time outside playing basketball, baseball, and soccer with the older kids. Basketball became my first passion after I joined my first team in 3rd grade. But i would’ve never known that by simply picking up a sport i’d learn lessons that will last a lifetime. Through sports I learned the importance of hard work, trust, leadership and many more valuable qualities. Those times have engraved a love for sports in me that is just as strong to this day as well as teaching me invaluable lessons. Since I was little I always wanted to teach or coach children. I’ve always loved taking care of kids and know the importance of them having virtuous role models in an equal environment.
