My responsibilities here at hickory hill is to ensure that are residents are safe and remain clean. I am usually responsible for looking after 15 to 20 residents a day , doing a round on them every 2 hours , making sure they’re okay , seeing if pull-ups are needing to be changed , asking if they need anything far as drinks , a little snack , or some food. Making sure beds are made and the rooms are tidied up … checking daily blood pressures and weight , changing some resident from their left side to right side every 2 hrs to prevent from getting bed sores because they are unable to get up and move around due to their health issues, and feeding residents who are unable to fed theirselves
My responsibilities for this job were to care for a elderly man who was paralyzed from the waist down and my job was to turn him from his left to right side every 2 hours and make sure his vitals needs to be where they suppose to be and also remind him on his medication time , clean a little around the house for him and cook for him as well and I also bathed him and emptied his catheter for him.
