As a banquet server, my responsibilities were to set up tables and chairs and add linens, napkins, silverware, and glassware to make the space presentable. During events everything was done at a timely manner like filling water glasses, bringing salads out, bringing dinner out, and then dessert. At the same time of doing this we had several chores to get done throughout the night like polishing silverware and glasses, setting up for the next event and making sure our space was cleaned and neat. Communication was key, I made sure to communicate to fellow servers, kitchen staff and the event coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly.
As a financial services employee, my responsibilities were to make financial transactions for customers. Those included bill pays, money transfers, money receives, cashing checks, and money orders.
As a customer service employee at Walmart, I handled several things including customers returns, exchanges, complaints, I answered phone calls and directed certain calls to different departments. When there was not a team lead or manager present I would step into their roles and lead the front end, whether it was making sure breaks went out on time, or if cashiers needed help with something. At the end of the night I would make sure all of my chores were done and cash tills were checked in.
