As a front of house lead at ISS Guckenheimer I am in charge of maintaining three of their buildings. In maintaining these buildings I oversee the organization and control of inventory for all buildings to ensure that the right amount of stock is in the right place at the right time. This involves a mix of strategic planning, team coordination, and operational oversight to minimize costs while fulfilling orders effectively. Some of my key responsibilities include setting inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring accurate record-keeping for each building. Along with the inventory responsibilities I clean, stock, and organize both the front of house as well as the back of house, keeping the product easily assessable and the storage functional. Daily I interact with customers in these building, I am a kind welcoming face for everyone. As a front of house lead I also assist with catering events. With my exceptional organizational skills, communication skills and problem solving skills I am able to play a key role in these events. From service setup to interacting with guests, answering questions and accommodating requests, I am able to ensure that the service is efficient and professional.
Customer service work at Home Depot involves assisting customers with just about anything with patience and a good attitude no matter how angry the customer. During my time at the desk I received numerous awards for the way I engaged with and helped customers. Working the service desk includes working with customers in store and online. At the desk I provided assistance helping customers locate a product, helped with purchases, returns, exchanges, creating online orders, giving the customer their online orders, problem-solving for anything wrong with an online order, organizing all orders, calling customers with updates with their orders, cleaning the desk keeping it presentable and much more. I was able to create a friendly atmosphere and relationships with customers ensuring a positive shopping experience and best at addressing customer complaints and problems in a courteous and efficient manner.
As a barista at Starbucks I was responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages, as well as other menu items like pastries, sandwiches as well as interacting with customers creating relationships and having great customer service. Daily I was interacting with customers, taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations. I was responsible for brewing coffee, crafting espresso-based beverages like lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos with precision and attention to detail. I was also preparing and heating food items like sandwiches and pastries, while maintaining food safety standards. I was responsible for keeping the workspace, equipment, and dining area clean and organized. While a large part of my job was having excellent customer service by ensuring orders are correct, addressing customer concerns, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Time management was also huge, handling multiple orders efficiently especially during busy periods was something I found exciting and excelled in. As a barista I was delivering high-quality beverages and maintaining a friendly and inviting environment for customers in a fast-paced setting.
