  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Local Office in coordination with Local Office and Area Office Leadership. Implement management systems and strategies to encourage work efficiency and productivity amongst Local Office staff.
  • Lead the office in practice and skill development. Participate in and model Continuous Quality Improvement endeavors both with staff and with the families we serve. Reinforce the importance and fidelity of Solution Based Casework with Local Office staff and colleagues. Conveys a belief in and an understanding of the value this practice model and shares the same with staff. Responsible for creating a shared vision amongst Local Office staff to support an environment that values quality practice and reaching desired outcomes for children and families.
  • Promote the Local Office as a learning environment with particular attention to those in Supervisory and Leadership roles, so that they can support field staff in their work. Encourage and increase accountability and ownership of individual staff members and leadership team, resulting in improved morale and investment in the work. Assessing and addressing barriers to quality performance and practice, as well as implementing strategies to overcome such barriers. Monitor and address the Local Office’s adherence to the Sustainability and Exit Plan (SEP). Ensure staff understands the connection between the SEP to our overall mission and purpose in working with families and children.
  • Develop positive working relationships with partners within the agency, as well as our external and community partners. Works in partnership with families to ensure that all families are safe, healthy, and connected, in accordance with principles of practice that reflect “best practice” standard such as: strength-based family engagement, teaming, and individualized action and case plans.
  • Utilize and share the information gathered and learned through educational and employment experiences in facilitating staff to meet the agencies mission, goals, and objectives. Conduct case and personnel conferences with staff. Identify training and development needs of Local Office staff. Utilize solution focused supervision and nurtured heart approach to facilitate staff growth and independence, as well as to increase accountability and ownership.
