Program and setup on Fadal CNC machines using Gibbs cam 3D modeling sofware . Repair die inserts for production . Check inserts for damage using indicators and mark them up and get them welded to recut to tolerance. I will program using Gibbs cam software to get the inserts back to original form or shape . Than I will stone the inserts so the aluminum doesn’t stick to the inserts . The inserts I repair are aluminum injection molds . I will have to fit at times and make sure the inserts have a tight closing so aluminum doesn’t flash out .

• Maintained tight tolerances with design specifications. Set up and make parts for production on a Haas cnc milling machine . Load programs and set up parts accordingly to blueprint specifications. Choosing the right tooling and equipment to make close tolerance parts .

Made and assemble dies for metal stamping . Daily task would be drilling, tapping, counterboring in exact locations from the blueprints. Grind tooling to certain dimensions using wet grinders . Drill and tap blocks to get ready for heat treat . After heat treat it gets EDM wired . Than we assemble the blanking punch and necessary plates for the tooling to stamp out metal parts .
