Work History

Warehouse Receiver

Bass Pro Shops
08.2024 - Current
  • Received and inspected incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Utilized inventory management systems to track product locations and status.
  • Coordinated with team members to efficiently organize stock within the warehouse.
  • Maintained cleanliness and safety standards throughout the receiving area.
  • Picking out items that customers and/or our retail stores purchase, and packaging products diligently so that they can get their product.
  • Represented as my department's Safety head. This means I will look out for anything unsafe in my area or check in with my coworkers to ensure safety standards are being met. I would either bring this up in my monthly safety meeting or address it with my supervisor immediately.

Shift Lead

Domino's Pizza
09.2021 - 07.2024

Worked as an insider at Domino's Pizza, handling various tasks.

  • Making pizzas. Prepared many different types of pizza in various sizes and styles. Making the pizza can consist of me just putting toppings on the pizza or starting from the beginning with stretching the dough out, and then topping it.
  • Prepared various side dishes, including wings, pastas, and specialty items, for customer orders. Made various types of foods, including wings, pastas, and sandwiches. Ranging from putting wings (bone in or boneless) on a tray, to making things like pastas and sandwiches. I would also make bread sides like our bread bites, bread twists, and stuffed cheesy bread. More sides I would make consist of are our specialty chicken, chocolate lava crunch cakes, and our marble cookie brownies. Most of these items were premade so it was just more so setting them up for when they were ordered.
  • Prepared food items and organized the workspace for efficient service. Opened the store and prepared food and the environment for customers. Things I would do to prep would be making sure the makeline (which is where we made the orders for the costumers) has our sides and toppings stocked in the cabinets underneath of the makeline. Also stocking the middle section of the makeline with the toppings that would be immediately be using. More things that I would prep are bread sides like prepping bread sides and twists. How I would do it is by cutting up our pan dough (which was used for our pan pizzas, bread bites, and bread twists) into multiple small pieces and shaping them into twists or bites. Another thing I would do for prep is making sure we have enough money in our cash registers and turning everything on at the store such as the ovens, the heaters, and the computers. Sometimes I would also prep after dinner rush if things were beginning to slow down.
  • Maintained cleanliness throughout the store by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintained cleanliness in the store for customers and coworkers. Examples of this would be sweeping, mopping, wiping down the makeline, wiping down all the tables, washing the dishes, putting aprons and rags in the washing machine and dryer, cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning out the ovens, throwing out carboard, throwing out the trash, etc.
  • Helping the costumers. Took orders from customers, addressed complaints, and answered questions.
  • Managed daily cash transactions and ensured accurate financial reporting. Verified the daily cash amount and notified the manager of discrepancies. Also I make sure the deposit that goes to our bank is counted for the day.
  • Helping my coworkers. Assisted coworkers with customer interactions and order preparation. Another example being reassigning a delivery to one of my drivers because they accidentally clocked out on a different delivery order.
  • Training my associates. Trained new employees on system usage, customer service, and food preparation.
  • Making sure our product is well stocked. Maintained product stock levels and organized inventory. That way I am not missing anything for my shift.

Customer Service Representative

Walgreens
05.2021 - 06.2021
  • Processed customer transactions as a cashier, managing payments, bagging merchandise, and handling refunds or exchanges promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assisted customers at the photo counter by processing photo orders, managing FedEx merchandise orders, and capturing passport photos efficiently.
  • Stocked shelves, end caps, and coolers with merchandise, ensuring proper organization. This would just entail me stocking either shelves, end caps, or the coolers with the merchandise that is supposed to go in those said areas. Another thing I would do when I am stocking is organizing the items to make sure they are all in the right place. If the item could not be stocked whether it be due to it not having a place for it in its given area or because the item is already filled to the brim, we would take the item in the back and label it as overstock. Overstock would usually try to get stocked in the evening to see if anything could go up.
  • Placed new price tags on items, updating prices for sales or changes. What I would do here is just set new price tags for items. Whether it just be me putting up a new price tag of the same price for the item or replacing it with a new tag of a different price. This was always done if the item was on sale.
  • Unloaded merchandise from delivery truck and organized items for stocking. This would just consist of me unloading merchandise from a truck that brought it to the store. We would put this merchandise on carts to be stocked later, leave them on metal racks in the backroom, or putting them on pallets.
  • Processed customer returns by returning items to their designated areas. I would just take items that were returned by the customer and bring them back to their respective area.
  • Taking online orders. What I would do here is take online orders for customers. I would basically shop for them and have their order ready for them when they arrive. After that the customer would either come in to grab the order or I would go out to give them the order.
  • Give out propane tanks. What I would do here is if a customer paid for a propane tank. I would go outside of the store and give them a propane tank. Sometimes I would switch out a empty tank that they brought with a full one along with the purchase.
  • Retrieved and organized shopping carts from outside into designated areas. What I would do here is just take shopping carts left outside and bring them back in the store, putting them back to the area they belong in.
  • Helping the customer in general. This is just general tasks I would do to help the customer. Such as talking to them on the phone, helping customers find a certain item they want, answering their questions, showing them what the price of an item is, unlocking restricted items that they need, and even helping them load their merchandise into their vehicles.
  • Performed cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces. This would entail me just doing tasks like sweeping and mopping the floor, vacuuming the front of the store, wiping the counters and tables, etc.
  • Trained new associates on store procedures and customer service techniques.

Load Handler

FedEx:Ground
11.2020 - 05.2021
  • Sorted packages accurately for timely dispatch and delivery operations.
  • Operated material handling equipment to ensure efficient package movement within the facility.
  • Trained new hires on safety protocols and equipment usage to promote safe practices.
  • Implemented best practices in package handling to reduce damage during transit.
  • Maintained cleanliness and organization of work area to enhance safety standards.
  • Reduced damaged goods by employing safe packaging methods and materials.

CAP 2 Associate

Walmart
05.2017 - 11.2020

When I used to work at Walmart I was a CAP 2 associate. CAP 2 essentially just means afternoon - evening stocker. Though at a certain point I switched to the morning shift but I was technically still labeled as a CAP 2 associate. The responsibilities I had at Walmart was

  • Unloading the Truck. What I would be doing here is taking merchandise out of the truck and organizing the items to a pallet or cart. That way when the truck is done I could take said pallet or cart to the right aisle to stock said merchandise in, without it being a hassle.
  • Zoned aisles to ensure merchandise was visually appealing and accessible for customers.
  • Zoning aisles. Which essentially means making the items in the aisles look presentable.
  • Assisted customers in locating items and retrieving products from shelves.
  • Performed cleaning duties to maintain store cleanliness and safety.. Walmart has a maintenance position but if you made the mess it was your responsibility to clean it up unless a manager or supervisor said otherwise.
  • Assisted the Online Grocery Pickup team by processing and organizing online orders during peak times.
  • Collected and organized grocery carts to ensure availability for customers.
  • Trained new associates on stocking and unloading merchandise.. While this was another thing that was not in my job title's description. Managers or Supervisors would sometimes ask me or other coworkers to train new associates. This would just be showing them how to stock or how to unload a truck. Or whatever they needed to be taught that we knew.
