VIRGINIA DEMENT

I have been nannying/babysitting since 7th grade and learned the importance of being accountable and on time. I love spending time with kids and making personal relationships with them. I would drive them to various camps or appointments, cook meals, and clean the house. This past semester I have been working as a front desk operator on campus. I answer questions, give directions, and sign students in for various needs. I am currently a freshman at the University of arkansas studying Apparel Production and Product Development. I am working towards a career in fashion production or marketing. I would love experience in that field. I am highly interested in the production aspect but mainly the marketing and selling aspect of fashion apparel.

I have been sewing since 7th grade after my mother taught me on our sewing machine at home. I have grown to love getting to create pieces or hem items. I am currently in a class in school where I am learning how to sew commerical items on a commerical, factory sewing machine
