• Provide project management support to FDOT District Five Program Management team under a General Engineering Consultant (GEC) contract.
• Manage and oversee Local Agency Program (LAP) and State Funded Grant Agreement (SFGA) projects from scoping through construction.
• Projects include sidewalks, trails, roundabouts, complete streets, resurfacing, intersection improvements, traffic signals, and pedestrian bridges.

• Monitor project risks, coordinate corrective actions, and support timely delivery within scope and regulatory requirements.

• Served as the City’s engineering representative for review and approval of consultant-prepared roadway, traffic signal, and ADA design packages in accordance with City, FDOT, and federal standards.
• Coordinated closely with Public Works, Traffic Operations, Planning, and external stakeholders to ensure design consistency, constructability, and alignment with City standards and policies.
• Oversaw construction activities for transportation projects, including maintenance of traffic (MOT), construction layout, and resolution of field issues to support on-time and compliant project delivery.
• Supported execution of transportation projects within the City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP), contributing to scope development, schedule coordination, and construction oversight.
• Performed traffic studies, safety analyses, and pedestrian and bicycle audits to support data-driven engineering recommendations and public safety improvements.

Representative Transportation Projects:

• Lake Adair Roundabout: Led design reviews and construction coordination for an urban roundabout focused on safety and operational improvements.
• Mercy Drive Corridor Improvements: Oversaw roadway and pedestrian safety enhancements, including ADA-compliant upgrades along a major urban corridor.
• Edgewater Drive ADA Improvements: Coordinated accessibility improvements at multiple signalized intersections to enhance pedestrian mobility and compliance.

• FDOT Project: SR50 Drainage and Roadway improvements at Central Fairgrounds
• Performed construction engineering inspection for FDOT roadway and drainage improvements on SR 50. Monitored contractor operations, materials, and traffic control to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

• On Field Projects: Norfolk Southern railroad bridges, Site work and Paving Projects for Elmhurst school District, IDOT-I290 circle interchange project (Pre-construction), Sterling Park Renovation Project.
• Estimating Projects: IDOT, ISTHA, CDOT, MWRD, METRA, INDOT, CTA, NSRR.
• Supported estimating, scheduling, and field coordination for major highway and bridge projects. Prepared quantity takeoffs, coordinated RFIs and submittals, and assisted with construction documentation.
