Coordinates all training needs including scheduling of classes and facilities, assisting in the scheduling of instructors, and ensuring that all logistical needs are met. Maintains a working knowledge of training compliance with Texas Commission on Fire Protection and ISO Class 1 standards. Evaluates all training policies and procedures for the Agency. Assists with scheduling and coordinating of training for both internal and external partners. Works closely with other training staff to ensure continuity and completion of projects. Manages training schedule and course registration. Collects and organizes data to produce reports. Represents MFD and acts as a liaison with other agencies for training. Assists in the development of strategic planning, goal setting, and objective establishment for the Training Division. Assists in the management, development, and maintenance of training field props. Assists in ensuring all training materials used by the Agency are compliant and updated. Performs other duties as assigned by the Fire Chief.
