Job Description Summary

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the logistics and setup of all ShotLink trailers, scoreboard trailer, structure trailer, fiber trailer, including power, internet service, all trailer communication equipment, coordinating with the NOC and technical staff, powering servers, inventory of all on-course and trailer equipment, and preparing on-course equipment for deployment. May be responsible for driving trucks to and from events.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Oversee the installation of ShotLink cameras, scoreboards, and other equipment. Works closely with field technicians, vendors, golf course superintendents, agronomists, and rules officials to ensure proper placement of equipment.
• Work closely with the Network Operations Center and serve as the point of contact for network connectivity, system, and application problems.
• Oversee the proper setup and correct locations of ShotLink trailers, portable structure trailers, fiber trailers, and fitness trailers.
• Responsible for broadcasting compound scoring networks and equipment. Install and support broadcast laptops, build and support the ShotLink network within the TV compound, and work with the TV Truck Engineer to terminate fiber and live feeds at ShotLink Trucks.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and support the Media Center, hospitality laptops, and connectivity.
• Serve as a second-level escalation for technical and power issues on-site.
• Ensure the correct setup of fiber optic cables, power, internet service, and communication equipment.
