I began as an RN at the VA Medical Center in August of 2021. I attended the Nurse Residency program. During that time, I learned the foundations of nursing and furthered my education within the facility. I worked on the Rehab/Long-term care unit with veterans who need PT, OT, and restorative care. I also cared for veterans in need of long-term care, antibiotics, and wound care. I served as a Charge Nurse on the night shift and day shift, received MDS training, and I am a PMDB trainer. I elevated from Nurse I to Nurse II during my evaluation period.
I am a driven registered nurse with several years of experience caring for patients within a long-term short-term care setting.
