As a Store Manager for LL Flooring, my current role is dynamic and multifaceted, primarily centered around analyzing new ways to generate sales and meeting each customers unique needs for their flooring project.

Additionally, I am entrusted with managing a staff of 4 and fostering a positive work environment by cultivating strong relationships between team members through team-building activities and consistent recognition of individual achievements. I am also responsible for providing training and expanding product and situational knowledge to equip my team to sell well and provide an uplifting, informative experience for our customers.

• Mentor new hires during their on-boarding process, ensuring they were well-equipped to excel in their roles from day one.

• As a Part-time side cook, my role on the team was to prepare various menu items, contributing to a smooth service flow and satisfied customers.
• Assisted head chef and other kitchen staff with daily prep work, enabling the kitchen to operate smoothly during peak hours.

As a Loss Prevention/Security Officer, my responsibilities were to safeguard hotel assets by regularly inspecting property perimeters, parking lots, and public areas for signs of trespass or damage. Furthermore, additional responsibilities included, but were not limited to;

• Increased overall guest satisfaction by promptly addressing security concerns and providing professional assistance.
• Mitigated disputes between guests or visitors, ensuring peaceful resolutions that upheld the reputation of the hotel.
• Enhanced hotel safety by conducting regular security patrols and monitoring surveillance systems.
• Cultivated positive relationships with hotel staff through regular communication, fostering an atmosphere of teamwork in ensuring guest safety.

While working Part-time for the Home Depot, my responsibilities were to promote store promotions and incentive programs to increase overall sales revenue while enhancing customer satisfaction by providing efficient and accurate cash transactions.

During the last 3 months of my tenure due to the continuation of my education, I served as a overnight receiver and stocker. My responsibilities were to expedite product replenishment by efficiently unloading delivery trucks and sorting merchandise. All the while ensuring proper rotation of perishable goods to maintain freshness and comply with health regulations using the FIFO method.

As a student athlete for my entire younger life and at Southwest Baptist, being a multi-positioned student athlete in the sport of football was a very welcoming challenge. It taught me how to multi-task efficiently and how to spearhead adversity and overcome loses and celebrate wins with your team. I also acquired leadership skills, applied myself to being coachable and able to receive/give constructive criticism to position my team to win. Although my time at Southwest Baptist university was short, I've created lifelong relationships and became proficient in many life skills.
