My days are usually spent hands on- doing underground slabs- hanging meter panels(tugs) walking houses, checking for correct installs per prints along with options. Receiving phone calls from builders who have issues and handling those issues either myself or delegating if I’m not on site.. also dealing with warranty calls troubleshooting if crews can’t figure out the issues. Scheduling inspections and walking with inspectors..making sure materials are ordered for crews.. also obtaining PO’s from builders if changes are necessary..
After completing my 4 years of FEAT training I took and passed my journeyman’s exam in 2006. In 2016 I regret not renewing my license. In the previous 10 years I never took my card out once. Wanted to save $$$. I will go back and retest
