Started to work as a Security Officer with these responsibilities:

Maintain a secure building making sure only authorized persons are present.

Professional interaction with students and staff.

Patrol Building report any discrepancies, safety issues and breaches. Make potential corrective suggestions.

Respond to any incidents/emergencies/alarms then follow up with a written report.

Participate in various drills for readiness.

Promote a positive work environment with staff and students.

Provide escorts to guest/visitors.

Created and printed student and staff ID cards including designing them.

Accomplishments

Entered NJDOC (N.J. Department of Corrections) in 1982 as a civilian in maintenance. 1984 became a Corrections Officer I was promoted to Sergeant then Lieutenant. Retired in 2010 with over 28 years of service. 2012 I worked at a warehouse where I implimented a easy to follow tracking document for pruduct inspection, still utilized after I left in 2015. 2015 I started to work at BCIT Westampton High School until the present.

A husband and father of 2 children, married for 44 years.
