• Work with a multidisciplinary team including general and interventional cardiologists as an integral part of an inpatient acute care consult service for Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN

Surgical Intensive Care Unit

• Plan and provide care for a variety of critically ill surgical patients using evidence based practice model with 24/7 coverage, participate in multidisciplinary rounds and perform procedures (CVC, arterial lines, bronchoscopies, PAC insertion, postpyloric feeding tubes, suturing, chest tube removals, drain management, wound care)
• Lead ACNP for a team of 10 ACNPs, attend all leadership meetings, act as liaison between SICU Medical Director and ACNP team. Preceptor for ACNP students.
• Provided leadership to create post surgical liver transplant care pathway protocol resulting in better team communication, decreased length of stay, and financial savings to patient.

• Plan/provide care for hepatobiliary surgery and hepatology patients during their pre-transplant and post-transplant periods, including immunosuppression therapy management

• Hired as one of four ACNPs to start a 24/7 coverage advance practice team in the Surgical ICU.
