Advised Commanding Officer on all personnel, training, operational, and combat operations. Personal confidant, resolved problems, improved operations to numerous Jordanian Operations Commanding Officers. Demonstrated a high level of initiative and creativity while tackling difficult tasks. Directly supervised 125 noncommissioned officers and enlisted personnel in a combat theater. Acted as a team leader in group projects, delegating tasks and providing feedback.
Provided classroom and lab instruction in military science and the profession of arms. Actively involved in the coaching, mentoring and counseling of leadership development of future Army Officers. Assisted in developing and establishing curriculum. Dual responsibility for preparing or oversight of Concept of Operations, Operation Orders, Composite Risk Management, and resourcing of classes, labs and extracurricular events. Guided students in researching, structuring, and presenting debate cases. Facilitated team-building exercises to promote camaraderie and collaboration among students.
Advised Platoon Leader on all personnel matters for over 45 soldiers. Managed over $68 million worth of equipment during garrison and deployment operations. Assisted in the planning, execution, resourcing, oversight and evaluation of all operations. Managed personnel administration tasks such as evaluations, promotions, awards recommendations, leave requests, and disciplinary actions to maintain a well-organized platoon structure. Improved platoon performance through consistent evaluation, feedback, and tailored leadership development plans for each soldier. Sustained 100% accountability of personnel and equipment by implementing comprehensive inventory management systems.
Spearheaded the planning, scheduling, resourcing, execution, evaluation and feedback to the Commanding Officer of all individual training, collective training and operations for the 400 Soldier unit. Utilized variety of instructional design methodologies to create effective learning experiences. Designed and delivered web-based, self-directed learning materials. Taught and enforced Army values and military standards. Mentored junior instructors, improving overall instructor proficiency and effectiveness in training delivery.
Recognized as an outstanding professional educator, coach, and mentor while a Drill Sergeant and Military Science Instructor at Duke University Army ROTC. Selected from peers to serve as the top Senior Non-commissioned Officer in the organization.
