What makes me unique is my hardworking spirit, my critical thinking ability, my adept and versatile intelligence, and my desire to help others. To illustrate these qualities, I completed the AP Biology course offered at my school and received a 5 on it in my ninth grade year. I am also currently taking 5 AP courses in my tenth grade year. Becoming a doctor is my passion, specifically going into the field of psychiatry. I am involved in many extracurriculars, such as Medicine club, Science Olympiad, Latin club, Science National Honors society, Chess club, and Mu Alpha Theta. In an effort to give back to my community, I have volunteered at local food banks, helped create tests for countywide Mini Mu mathematics competitions, and participated in trunk or treat events. I have a deep love for learning, life, and philosophy, which led me to create a Philosophy club at which members can ponder the teachings of renowned thinkers and gain a deeper understanding of themselves. This same passion for developing self-insight and alleviating suffering is my driving purpose as I work towards my dream to be a medical professional.
