- Proactively identify and mitigate potential inventory and supply chain risks (excess inventory, disruptions in supply, etc.)
- Work with order replenishment analyst to manage purchase execution, flow of product and resulting inventory levels
- Set weekly Open To Buy targets, based on financial and inventory plans, and communicate product priorities to replenishment analyst
- Work with planning systems to set inventory levels and system settings e.g. service level settings, lead time changes, blocking and unblocking product at DCs, etc.
- Collaborate with partners across Supply Chain to remove barriers to product flowing efficiently from vendor to distribution centers including Mixing Centers and Regional Distribution Centers
- Actively manage brand’s inventory investment and identify opportunities to leverage/rebalance inventory (i.e., stock levels, reorder points, and lead times) to increase inventory velocity (turns) and reduce inactive / excess inventory and the need to buy additional inventory
- Drive inventory analysis, reporting, and root cause analysis when issues arise and for Director to report to the brand pods
- Develop and execute corrective actions to improve operational efficiency as requested by Director in support of brand pod
- Collaborate with Vendor, Purchasing and Replenishment, Operations, International Logistics and China Team to ensure a steady supply of goods and prevent stockouts
- Support Network Planning and Optimization to develop and evolve sourcing strategies and decisions to optimize product flow and inventory holding / investment strategies
- Approve minor adjustments to planning per sales request
- Supply Planning: Execute planning activities for one or two manufacturing/distribution units with dependencies on other processes/units/suppliers. Provide input to the overall supply planning framework and systems
- Supplier Management: Maintain day-to-day contact with business-critical suppliers and respond to complex incidents with suppliers or supplies/services to analyze performance and provide feedback on key supplier management indicators
