My experience as a still photographer provided a solid foundation for my journey into the world of film and video. The meticulous attention to composition, lighting, and visual storytelling that I had cultivated as a photographer seamlessly translated into my videography work. I realized that the art of capturing a single frame held the key to understanding how to compose a sequence of frames that flowed harmoniously.

The world of documentary filmmaking and news videography share a common bond with the emotional resonance of still photography. While a photograph can evoke an emotion within a single heartbeat, a well-crafted video can lead viewers on an emotional journey that unfolds gradually, enveloping them in a narrative that resonates deeply. I find myself drawn to the power of storytelling – the ability to shed light on untold stories, to bring attention to social issues, and to provide a voice to those who often remained unheard.
