As a Senior Commercial Technician, I am responsible for providing advanced technical support for internet-based products, including Metro-Ethernet, VoIP, PRI, SIP and other telecommunications services. This role involves troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and supporting complex network systems for business clients. I conduct site surveys and provide recommendations for the installation or upgrades of network infrastructure and video solutions.

Responsible for the integral management of satellite platforms, including the administration of Idirect and VSAT hubs. Provide third-level support for network infrastructure and data center incidents, ensuring quick resolution of complex technical issues. Oversee structured wiring and satellite spectrum availability, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Additionally, involved in the planning and coordination of projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsible for monitoring and managing network performance, ensuring optimal operation, and resolving incidents in a timely manner. This role involved providing second-level support for failures on Cisco IP core equipment, managing satellite platforms such as Viasat, Idirect, and SCPC, and offering technical support for Field Engineers (FE). Conducting certification and testing of new links and services, ensuring they meet the required performance and quality standards.

Responsible for traveling across the country to provision and certify microwave links, overseeing and ensuring the proper installation and configuration of RF equipment. This role involves testing backbone networks for data providers, performing acceptance site testing, conducting waveguide certification, and aligning antennas to optimize network performance. Conduct site surveys to assess locations for microwave link installations. Including project management, resources, and communication with customers.
