
As a OSRAP SPECIALIST with 20+ years of experience using and analyzing advanced baggage scanners such as the CTX9000 and CTX9800 at SFO wich place a vital role in aviation security by identifying hidden explosive, weapons and prohibited items.
Vigilance & Attention to Detail: The ability to maintain high focus and quickly recognize shapes and materials, often while processing hundreds of bags per hour.
• Technical Proficiency: Understanding of how X-ray scanners operate and the ability to distinguish different material densities (e.g., metals vs. organic materials).
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly direct communicate potentia threats to team members.
• Certification: In the United States. these
screeners are known as Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) as Covenant Aviation Security we are required to follow that same guidelines.
