Key Responsabilities

• Collaborate with IT, Business and Operation leaders both inside and outside the organization to ensure delivery of meaningful results from strategic P&C initiatives.
• Ensure complete understanding of Global and LATAM regional projects and the associated CBA’s, understanding of set critical Success Factors, documented set of clearly defined deliverables, a delivery schedule focused on regional needs while taking into account global dependencies, a regional quality assurance plan, regional a risk/issues/change log, implementation plan.
• Build strategic relationships with business and operations to stimulate, surface, and shape business demand.
  
• Secure the internal and external resources required to fulfill the plan, business, operations, engage the Providers, Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture groups in a timely fashion, and foster a strong team spirit.
• Ensure that the Chubb Development methodology is followed by all regional staff on the project, and that any variations to the standard process are authorised by the IT executives (both global and regional).
• Identify regional synergies between projects and work with global IT leadership to ensure reuse of regionally built IT assets when possible.
• Identify and manage changes to the project’s scope, ensuring that impact assessments are undertaken, that appropriate authorization is secured and that adjustments to plans are made and communicated to local, regional, and global stakeholders.

Responsible for the supervision, implementation, and maintenance of P&C UW and operations systems in Latin America : UWP, Workview and Pipeline

Key Responsabilitites

• Ensure the secure and effective operation
• Managed teams of contractors and full time staff by coaching, mentoring and driving efficiency.
• Researched and recommended innovative and automated approaches to routine tasks.
• Reviewed and assessed architecture design, implementation, testing and deployment needs to identify project requirements and costs.
• Ensure that progress is measured against the schedule, that corrective action is taken and that project governance is operated via fortnightly status reporting and monthly steering group meetings. Manage trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost in accordance with the Critical Success Factors as the project progresses. Hold local resources assigned to global projects accountable.
• Implement clear escalation procedures, identify and manage project issues and risks, and ensure that contingency plans are prepared and actioned in a timely fashion. Where issues will take the project outside of project or stage tolerance, prepare an exception plan for approval by the steering group and, upon approval, action the plan in a timely manner.
• Increase the accuracy of project estimates after the initiation phase, ensure that correct contingency levels are applied and adjusted throughout the project, and that the contingency budget is managed rather than consumed.

PMP Certificated. Systems Engineer specialized in software engineering. Eleven years of technical management experience, with IT projects involving all the software life cycle process across all Chubb arquitecture landscape regionally and Globally and all LATAM funcional areas (finance, underwriting operations and claims)

Experience with the implementation of systems aimed at optimizing and automating mass processes across UW area .

Extensive expererience and excellent knowledge of Chubb's regional and global business process and systems involved in all cross-functional areas like Worview implementation, Autos Brazil, Pipeline, UWP, PCW, OLE.
