- As a guide, my responsibilities included maintaining a high level of client safety, coaching and instructing clients on different fishing techniques, providing local knowledge on wildlife and history, preparing daily hot shoreside lunches and overall accommodating my clients and taking care of their needs throughout each day.
- Guided overnight camp trips with 2-4 clients at our North Creek camp on the Bering Sea targeting all 5 salmon species and dolly varden. Responsible for hiking clients to the river, assisting and teaching them all things fishing, providing proper bear safety, and cooking breakfast, lunches and dinners.
- Guided on the river everyday for 110 consecutive days, operating 18ft aluminum jet boats with 65hp jet motors.
- Other lodge duties performed include weed whacking, lawn mowing, motor maintenance/boat cleaning, fish cleaning/processing and fuel transfers.
