Growing up in rural Aitkin, I have had a couple jobs in my young career. From working as a stock boy and the deli at the local grocery store to being a cook a the local restaurant. I have learned to work with coworkers efficiently. I strive to keep a clean and safe work area. One of my biggest assets is learning on the job. Hands on is the best way to succeed as an employee. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and help anyone who needs a hand.
I started as cleaner and dishwasher as my first position that the restaurant. After working there for some time I was able to work up to bussing and then eventually to cooking and food prep. I really enjoyed working there, but the restaurant cut it's operation hours to 2pm. I am currently still in high school, so the new store hours will not allow me to work there anymore.
I worked at the local grocery store stocking shelves and helping with deliveries. I also helped out as an assistant in the Fresh Deli Section preparing food for sale and clean up.
