  • Wrote the companies new Order Management System using Django from the ground up providing better data availability and stability for the Warehouse Management System. This system ended up being the most reliable system created under the WMS team with an exceedingly low rate of failure.
  • Integrated with Amazon's SPAPI through Celigo with the OMS creating a more consistent and reliable mechanism to consume Amazon orders.
  • Helped pioneer a new service using Django that would integrate with Amazon's Fulfilled By Amazon api to restock Amazon warehouses with Standvast inventory. This system dramatically increased productivity by reducing the time needed to calculate shipments to the Amazon warehouses by several hours per order.
  • Created various dashboards to view and monitor the above projects alerting the oncall or relevant teams.
  • Developed new coding standards for the team and introduced better testing patterns leading to an increase in code quality and legibility.
  • Mentored junior developers in design patterns and best practices to help them grow as developers as they assisted in the development of the above projects.
  • Participated in various design meetings in order to discus possible solutions to various problems and engineer the high level solution to these problems. Then breaking down the high level solution into singular tasks for other developers to work on.
  • Assisted the Principle Engineer in making critical design decisions, complex problems that occur during development, and assigning tasks to other developers helping to reduce his workload. This then allowed him to focus on other tasks such as assisting the PM in identifying existing pain points in our processes that could be improved upon in future projects.
