• Staffs designated sprint unit and schedule and responds to major accident scenes or calls.

• Monitors refusals, on-scene times and AllSafe driving reports and implements strategies with employees for improvement.
• Communicates policies, procedures, and information appropriately and in a timely manner to employees.
• Monitors station maintenance.
• Participates in goal planning sessions.
• Participates in area disaster drills.
• Visits hospital and nursing home staff to maximize relationships.
• Assists Operations Manager with corrective action, investigations, and complaint resolutions.
• Monitors petty cash at assigned stations in the district.
• Monitors usage and storage of controlled substances.
• Facilitates a voice mail sprint shift report to district management.
• Attends staff meetings and may assist with facilitation of the meetings.
• Represents Acadian at occasional public meetings.
• Responds to calls as a first responder when necessary.
• Periodically rides third person with assigned employees.
• Obtains signatures on assigned documents.

• While working an assigned sprint truck: respond to accidents and disasters, acts as First Responder as needed.
• Oversee completion of all logs and timesheets; ensures compliance with medical reporting requirements. Conducts internal medical audits. Obtain signatures as requested.
• Coordinate equipment routing to various units and stations. Monitor conditions of mainline and spare units.
• Monitor performance issues such as refusals, on-scene times, Smart Drive Reports, station maintenance.
• Communicate policy changes, post memos, and distribute information as needed.
• Assist the Operations Manager with public relations efforts. Visit hospitals and other medical facilities to promote positive community/business relations.
• Participate in goal setting & strategic planning for operations.
• Participate in disaster drills, monthly staff meetings, community meetings.

Contracts with Shell, Chevron, Noble Drilling, Transocean, and Chuest Offshore

Documents all aspects of patient condition and treatment on EMS run reports

Obtains and records non-medical patient information as required by the company

•

Completes other patient documentation and forms as required by the company

•

Documents and reports all needed repairs to the proper maintenance departments (electronic or mechanical) as well as to supervisors and other project personnel as required

•

Conducts a careful examination of the patient for signs and symptoms of illness / injury and assists other medical personnel as necessary

•

Provides prompt and efficient basic, intermediate or advanced life support care of the patient prior to and during transport to the medical facility

•

Provides safe and efficient transport of the patient in the ambulance, helicopter or boat to the medical facility

•

Provides a safe and efficient transfer of patient and patient care information to the receiving personnel at the destination

•

In the absence of other qualified personnel, responsible for controlling the patient's surroundings is such a way as to minimize further danger and control the actions of bystanders

Assist and/or perform Safety Inspections

Conduct orientation of new employees and visitors
