Work History

Retirement Planner & Medicare Specialist

Bankers Life And Casualty
07.2023 - Current
  • I began my practice with Bankers Life with the intention of helping my clients have a streamlined transition from the work force into their golden years. When it comes to retirement, there are four primary aspects that need to be addressed. These include Health Care, Portfolio Insurance, Life Insurance/Estate Planning, & Income Planning. At Bankers life we take pride in helping our customers with all of these factors that can effect their retirement income and savings, as well as the life style they live in retirement.
  • Bankers Life & Casualty was founded in 1879 as a Life Insurance company in Chicago, IL. When the government came up with the Medicare Supplement, we were the company to write the very first one! We later developed Long Term Care/ Post Hospital Insurance for our clients, insuring that the money they worked for their whole lives, was protected when they no longer care for themselves. Bankers Life also has a team of expert financial advisors, who help our clients with their Retirement Income and Savings.

HVAC-R Service Technician

Select Mechanical/Commercial Trade Services
10.2020 - 07.2023

I spent some years in the commercial HVAC work, before I started my practice with Bankers Life. It was a great job that providing me with the opportunity to work hard and be outside, I loved it! But unfortunately I have always been a little scared of heights, and one day I couldn't handle it any more. I was sitting on top of a 2 story building looking down the 30 + foot ladder to get myself back to the ground and I froze. I'd been up this ladder countless times before, but that day I was stuck. After waiting for a few hours, a coworker arrived to help me down. After climbing down the side of the building, onto another roof, onto a tree, onto another (smaller) ladder, and I was finally back on the ground! That day I decided, I should find a job that keeps me on the ground...

Roth Heating & Air Conditioning is where I "cut my teeth" as a young HVAC technician. It's a small, Christian, family owned little shop here in Wichita. It's a great business that specializing in residential/light commerical HVAC work. Roth was/is still just like a family to me. I had a great time working there, but eventually the attics and crawl spaces got a little "old" if you would. Eventually leading me to spread my wings and begin my Commercial HVAC journey!

  • Filled out detailed work orders for each job completed.
  • Performed routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
  • Analyzed blueprints and manufacturers' design specifications to determine HVAC equipment configuration and complete proper installation.
